Registration for our 2018 Summer Theatre & Cultural Enrichment camp is open. You now have the opportunity to register your child early and have almost a full year to pay down on your balance. Children are engaged in music (group voice & guitar), visual arts, theatre, and dance. Every week we challenge our campers to read a new book that corresponds with our Life Skills partners. Our Life Skills partners teach everything from financial literacy, to environmental awareness, to self & wellness practices, to anti-bullying. We strive to benefit the whole child.
Beginning June 4 – July 26, 2018, TeCo Theatrical Productions, Inc. will offer an eight week, immersive, cultural enrichment camp at the Bishop Arts Theatre Center. Students will study one-on-one attention with Master Teaching Artists and learn a myriad of skills including:
- music, art, dance, and theatre
- life skills with community partners (e.g. anti-bullying, financial literacy, environmentally-friendly workshops, etc.)
- a literacy component where our “book of the week” informs the art created in classroom sessions
- digital activities utilizing various Smithsonian cultural centers online platforms
Only 50 applications will be accepted on a first-come, first serve basis
