Summer Theatre STEAM Camp

Summer Theatre STEAM Camp

Registration Is Open

Bishop Arts Theatre Center – 2026 Summer Youth Arts Program
Dates: June 1 – July 23, 2026
Ages: 6 – 12

Bishop Arts Theatre Center will host an eight-week, exploratory arts program designed to inspire creativity, confidence, and connection in youth ages 6–12.

Students will engage in theatre, dance, visual arts, music, and life skills workshops led by master teaching artists. Through these experiences, campers will explore diverse cultures, expand their worldview, and form lasting friendships.

Our program is designed to combat summer learning loss and help close the achievement gap in marginalized communities. With recent declines in math and reading scores due to pandemic-related disruptions, we’re integrating the arts into STEM education to create STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning opportunities. This approach strengthens both academic skills and socialization, teaching students how to combine analytical and creative thinking.

In addition, all curricula incorporate Social Emotional Learning (SEL) activities, helping students develop self-management, conflict resolution, perseverance, empathy, and teamwork skills.

Limited spots are available—register today to secure your child’s place in this enriching summer experience!
